3. No..she decalared victory
but the votes are still coming in..Counties have 28 days after the election to count and report the provisional/absentee ballots.

And the race was too close (less than 2%) for a winner to be declared.

4. Me too
Mail-in ballots sometimes shift the numbers.

2. There are many, many votes yet to be counted...
I expect the totals to shift between them quite a lot till the tally is done...

We just need to hang on.

9. It's a matter of whose ballots are counted when
I don't know where they came from, but it could be all of Colley's counties finishing up first.

10. The most recent ones counted
Have come from San Bernardino and Riverside counties, huge Republican strongholds.

FWIW, Cooley is significantly behind in his home county (Los Angeles) and they've just started to count the provisional and absentee ballots.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY a/o November 5, 2010, 3:36 p.m.

Kamala D. Harris (Dem) 1,004,737 53.4%

Steve Cooley (Rep) 743,482 39.5%

5. How many mail in ballots are still "out there"?
Are there enough uncounted to matter?
