King Endorses Bachmann for Republican Conference Chair

Washington D.C.- Congressman Steve King (R-IA) today issued the following statement in response to election results and preparation for the 112th Congress.

“The Republican Conference Chair needs to be the best communicator we have. Mike Pence is our best communicator and Michele Bachmann is a very close second who has the ability to become even more effective than Pence. Michele has charisma and she brings with her an impressive skill set. She embodies the agenda of the constitutional conservatives. Constitutional Conservatives are the majority makers, the conscience of America and the new agenda setters.

“We need a conference chair with her style. Michele is intellectually brilliant, a very quick study, and philosophically sound. She has a high national profile and has boldly overcome every obstacle put in her path,” said King. “Just two years ago, Chris Matthews launched a viral attack on Bachmann and Speaker Pelosi flew to Minnesota with a million dollars to use against her. Bachmann took on that challenge and today teases Chris Matthews about the ‘tingle down his leg’ as Pelosi cleans out her desk.”

“With this reminder of Michele’s strengths and communication style, I strongly encourage you to support Michele Bachmann as the next Chair of the House Republican Conference.”

3. That comment is based on a perception of what is winning.

The treasures of winning is based on what you choose to stand for.

Some day everyone will learn exactly what is right.

Then the wins and loses will be known, those who 'won' with bad arguments will learn they are wrong, those that 'lose' with good arguments will know they stood for what was correct.

It is part of what you take with you when you reach more understanding. Although there is some comfort with those that do wrong without knowing it, the better reward is for those that do correct even against bigger odds.

It is easy to side with a big team like system inertia, that is one of the easiest things in life, going against that is hard.

But here is the trick, even if you win only 1 out of 10 battles, each of those wins actually changes something for the better. The 9 out of 10 losses really don't make any difference anywhere.

7. Anybody here ever google their name? I did once, and discovered I have the
same name as a minor porn actress.

So, where is this other Michele, the one who's "intellectually brilliant, a very quick study, and philosophically sound"?

8. We Need To Keep A List Of This...
It'd make the ultimate guide to the great unhinged. What's scary is King is in line to get a chairmanship over immigration. My bets are she also gets endorsed by Marsha Blackburn, Virginia Foxx, Mean Jean Schmidt and Ted Poe. A regular cast of absolute losers. Ya gotta think Boner's biggest nightmare isn't President Obama...it's Bachmann-Unhinged Overdrive.

:hi:
