So my mom calls me at work this morning
and as I pick up the phone she is laughing and she says that her sister (a HUGE conservative) called her last night about voting and what arguements could I give her to convince her to not vote conservative. She was giggling the whole time because there is no way she will vote the way her sister wants and she knows she was winding me up.

Now I need to pay my mom back because she got me all worked up and now I have a headache and am generally pissed about how stupid intelligent people like my aunt can be when they just listen to soundbites and attack ads and don't do any kind of research for themselves.

4. Wow, that's powerful!
I second the up-post in wishing that this had been televised nationally.

2. I love your mom
Because she was playing 'funny' on you! At the same time - she might have riled you up - but you know she must have been trying to not laugh in your Aunt's face/ear during that conversation.
