Yes, Wall Street is a fickle bunch. Faced with
Tea Party in Republican Party, Obama and the Left
might not be so bad after all.

on Obama and he confronted them then and there with
something like: " You understand, that I am the only
thing standing between you and the Pitchforks."

This was early on in his presidency when tensions
were high, we were on the precipice. Obama was
trying to explain to them some changes were going
to be made , you know regulations etc.

The President was referring to all the Angry Americans
ready to rip the banks.

You must admit, it is us on the Left who most openly
criticize Corporations, Banks.

Evety now and then I feel like storming the gates pitchforks
and flames.

3. Why would that be? Beyond lip service about bailouts, I've yet to hear
anything in the Teabag repertoire that seems unfriendly to big business or finance.

5.  2 schools of thought: 1) gridlock is good for biz (Clinton era); 2) Gridlock is terrible (Bush).

Take your pick - are you a gridlock Bull or Bear? Are you betting long or short on the next two years and the future of the USA?

Only time will tell. The only certainty, the Left isn't going to be running things in DC. Never has - not since 1945, anyway. I don't think anyone was seriously worried about any pitchforks coming from our direction.

The other side - well, they're armed and dangerous.
