Last I heard, that wasn't possible.

Nobody could have imagined that right-wing Taliban douchebags would Fed-Ex death to America.

...or did they... (imagine it, I mean)

I'm not sure what to make of all this.

But WAY TO GO everyone involved.

When Republicans run the show, shit blows up and everyone hears about it. When Democrats run the show, shit doesn't blow up and Democrats are called "weak on defense."

Hm.

19. Last night Tweety forgot about it in less then one segment.
After some quick coverage of how "minor" the attack was ... he said something like, "I want to get back to what's important, the enthusiasm gap", or some such non-sense.

The last think he wanted to do was say "the Democrats have kept us safe". It was unreal.

26. So you would prefer an attack to come to fruition and then
claim that he should have prevented it.

I personally don't want to see innocent people killed because someone was worried about what a situation might look like.

Okay....

28. If this had happened when Bush was president
Edited on Sat Oct-30-10 10:05 PM by dflprincess
this board would have been full of threads about him pulling out the "terra" card and questioning the truth of what we're being told.

And this time it didn't happen just before the election but also right before the new scanners and rules about pat downs go into effect at airports rules that a lot of Americans were finally daring to question.

I don't trust any politician not to use fear if they think it's expedient to do so.

31. I will agree that during Juniors reign this was true
However; there is stark difference and we all have to acknowledge it.

1. Terror Level Panic

a. Since President Obama has been in office how many times have we had a national panic about the terror level color being raised? 0

b. During Juniors Reign everytime without fail when the Repugs were in trouble there was a Terror Level alarm. There is a document that does calculate the correlation between Repug downturn and the alerts.

2. Alerts aside, for the last two years how many times has President Obama overreacted to situations? 1 - The firing of the woman who supposedly made racist comments, story pushed by Breitbart.

3. The news is reporting now that the amount of explosives discovered would have killed many Americans. Coincidence or not with the upcoming election the potential catastrophe was stopped.

18. This is the most organized and REAL threat since 9-11 ...
to this country ...

It does not appear to be on the scale of 9-11 obviously, but it is certainly the most credible, REAL, and organized attack since 9-11 ...

This is a Joe Biden BFD ...

But, it is too much to ask for the dems to rally around it, sadly, much less the "liberal" media ...
