Hannity: "why is this happening to conservative women?"
Edited on Fri Oct-29-10 06:06 PM by SoCalDem
Duh!!!

maybe because THEY are the ones who go around acting holier-than-thou, telling everyone else how to live..People like THAT are always going to encourage people to dig a little deeper.

At 41, Christine set herself apart from the "norm", with all that abstinence/purity crap.

While it may appear to be misogynistic to "pick on the little women of the right", it's REALLY not.

Politics is not "beanbag". If you choose to run, you are inviting the world into your life..past-present and future. If there are skeletons in the closet or questionable photos around, you had better EXPECT them to all come tumbling out into the light of day.

Republican woman want it both ways.. they want to go around bragging about their "balls", calling their male adversaries wimps, hinting at the male adversaries' sexual orientation, telling them to "man up"...and then hollering about abuse when anyone dares to use their own words, images & ideas to prove what hypocrites they are..

Can you imagine the shitstorm if one of the guys on the receiving end on their vitriol said " Put on your big-girl bra"?

1. Not all conservative women. Just the whackadoodle ones.
Nobody ever fucked with Nancy Kassebaum, after all.

2. Exactly.
and their usual follow up is to commiserate about the treatment Hillary got, when MOST of it came from THEM :)

11. Palin made snarky remarks about Hillary "whining"
and then followed up with continued whining herself about how she was misquoted, misrepresented, and misjudged.
There is no actual authenticity about this new breed of rightwingers. They are marginal personalities devoid of self reflection and decency.
To run for an office as a Republican these days, you need have a narcissistic personality disorder.

3. Exactly. They've made micro-managing the sex lives and bodies of consenting adults the centerpiece

of the agenda.

So let's not whine about "privacy", Hannity: You guys want sexual privacy, stop trying to legislate it out of existence.

6. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Elizabeth Dole, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins
etc. etc. These are Republican women that I have fundamental disagreements over their positions but they have earned respect because they aren't batshit crazy!!

If you are batshit, prepare to be exposed.

And FWIW, I'd love to have some insight on what Hannity was actually saying - the OP is pretty vague.

8. He was interviewing poor widdle Christine
and that was his question to her. Her answer was about how mean everybody was to Hillary and how she just wanted to "get back to discussing what was important to the citizens of Delaware"..

She probably forgot about her adventures in LadyBugLand:)

9. Because somebody has to do it
These "witches" need to be exposed. None of them are smart enough to hold ANY office. Would Vannity go to a unexperienced surgeon because she's "cute"?

10. I'm pretty sure we'd rip apart a hypocritical female Dem too...
It's the hypocrisy, not the party.

12. I was a stay at home Mom of 2
because that was MY CHOICE. Would I say that ALL women should do that? Absolutely not. Different strokes for different folks, as the old staying, and sitcom, go. I think THAT is the difference between us Dems and the Repukes. They are DO AS WE SAY, not necessarily as do we do.

Hypocrites.
