Stephen Colbert’s ‘Fear For All’ Skewers Xenophobia
http://www.fancast.com/blogs/2010/tv-news/stephen-colberts-fear-for-all-skewers-xenophobia/

As the day of the Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear approaches, Stephen Colbert used last night’s ‘Colbert Report’ to remind everyone what they should be fearing in his continuing efforts to undercut Jon Stewart’s call for sanity, reason and moderation.

In “the first installment of my one-part series” called ‘Stephen Colbert’s Fear For All,’ he sat down with a delegate from groups that stoke his paranoia: a Muslim guy, a gay guy, a Mexican guy, a “grizzly coddler” and an artificial intelligence researcher – aka a guy who “could be a robot.”

Colbert’s crazy claims from job-stealing to gay conversion and assuming the Muslim representative knows where Osama Bin Laden is are laid out in his signature sarcastic-ignorant style, and put in the context of fearing secret robot people and random bear attacks really points out how silly a lot of this Tea Party xenophobia really is.

There's a link to watch the show.

2. Colbert is a comic genius and, for my money, sharper than Jon "I'm so calm and reasonable
I actually equate anti-war protesters with gun-toting, 2nd amendment remedies threatening, No separation of church and state preaching Teapers" Stewart.

Hell, Colbert had the guts to stand three feet from Shrubya and deliver one of the most brutal lambastings in the history of lambs basting! I'm surprised he got out of there alive.

If the Teapers had been in power then, I'm not so sure he would have.
