electoral-vote.com (without Rassmussen)
Pennsylvania: Sestak 45 Toomey 43 (PPP and Muhlenber Polls)
West Virginia: Raese is crashing Manchin 47-42 (Marshall, Opinion, PPP)
Wisconsin: Feingold is now down by 4 (average of 4 polls)

With Rassmussen (avereage)
Sestak trails by 2
Feingold by 5 (Though Johnson is at 50)
Manchin by 1
Murray by 2
Illinois is a tie
Connecticut Bloomenthal up by 7 (51%)

2. Look for Rasmussen's last polls before the election to look more like other polls.
Then they'll say how accurate and unbiased they are because their last polls came close to matching election results.

3. it has been near radio silence the last few weeks ...
they simply do a very brief victory dance for the Rs without noting any numbers then move on ...

Circle Jerk Joe on Monday morning everyone was in their all knowing glory babbling about how it will be the best thing for BO to have an R majority in the House, because, you know, Joe Scarboro and republicans like him will hold Boehner and the other Rs feet to the fire if they start acting like the republicans did during Bushco ...

They are going to just assume the Rs are going to win the house because no one can REALLY get a handle on that, and hope it breaks that way ...

6. Not the same scenario.
A Republican House would make sure our Democratic President has no money to spend. It would be the same sort of obstruction we've seen in Congress for the past 2 years, and with the same motive: make Obama look bad. If a Republican were President, you'd see the same old GOP borrow-and-spend lapdog Congress we saw in 2001-2006.

But this important distinction will be lost on the likes of Morning Blow, who would champion obstruction and sabotage as frugality. And if tax cuts for the wealthy are blocked in the Senate or vetoed by the President, they would see no relationship whatever with fiscal discipline.
