Email from Democracy for America RE: Russ Feingold - we're closing the gap!
(I know it is an internal poll they are citing, but still, it sounds like good news! WE MUST HELP FEINGOLD GET RE-ELECTED!!!)

*****-

Three weeks ago, Gov. Howard Dean wrote to you with an urgent message -- Progressive Hero Russ Feingold was down in the polls and being outspent by a multimillionaire Tea Party Republican by 3 to 1 on T.V.

It was an urgent call and you did what DFA members always do -- You stood up and fought back.

Working together with Senator Feingold's grassroots campaign, we've closed the gap -- his most recent poll shows him tied 48-48 with right-wing Republican Ron Johnson.

Governor Dean's call to action raised over $125,000 for Russ and, at the same time, DFA members rolled up their sleeves, volunteering to make calls and knock on doors across Wisconsin. That's amazing work, but we're not done yet. No polls have showed Feingold in the lead yet and most polls still show Feingold behind by 4 to 7 percent.

Last time, we closed the gap. But this time, the goal is to not just fight back... it's time to put Russ Feingold over the top. Contribute $10 right now and reelect a progressive champion.

We've closed the gap for Russ Feingold -- Contribute $10 right now to put him over the top. http://www.actblue.com/page/supportraul

Russ isn't the only progressive champion who is gaining in the polls but still needs our help to win.

Right-wing corporate front groups like the Chamber of Commerce and Karl Rove's American Crossroads are going after Congressman Raul Grijalva -- the chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Last week, DFA members around the country fought back and made 21,235 calls for the Grijalva campaign in just one day. Our joint Call Out The Vote campaign with the Progressive Change Campaign Committee will continue to make thousands of calls in district to help identify voters and get out the vote for Raul.

But Raul needs our support to fight back on the air too. With Republican front groups covering the airwaves with lies and attacks; Raul needs our help to hit back with the truth.

It's time to double down if we're going to beat back big corporate money and put Grijalva over the top.

Contribute now to keep two Progressive Heroes who work hard to get the job done.

You know, I've said it before and I'll say it again -- even if Democrats suffer major losses this November -- with your help, we're going to make sure our progressives win.

People power is the only thing that can beat big corporate money. It's the only thing that ever has and it's the only thing that ever will.

Thank you for everything you do to win.
