I shit you not!

http://twitter.com/DESenate2010 - read from the bottom up.

The crowd of law students, seemed unhappy with O'Donnell's instances that the separation of church and state isn't in the 1st amendment.

Coons says he thinks all of the amendments should remain. #desen

O'Donnell said she opposes repealing the 17th. Opposes repealing the 16th. Doesn't say clearly on 14th.

O'Donnell asked about repealing 14, 16 and 17 amendments. Only knew what the 17th was. Asked for explanation of others. #desen

O'Donnell asks Coons: "Where in the Constitution is the separation of church and state?" draws laughter from crowd.

O'Donnell: "You've just prove how little you know about constitutional law and the theory of evolution."

Coons says creationism is religious doctrine and should be kept out of schools and left in churches. #desen

Hey idiot - 14th Amendment is what all you racist teabaggers are having a hissy fit over (what defines a Citizen of the United States)
16th is about taxes.

Perhaps before you call your opponent uneducated on constitutional law that perhaps you should first learn the constitution.

1. If this is what the Republican Party has become
they should be very very afraid.

So many of their candidates, like O'Donnell, Miller & Angle are not only unqualified to govern they are also pretty much unqualified to be allowed out of the house without an escort to make sure they can find their way home.

3. She's going to run again in 2 years because no republican will go against Carper
Even Castle won't go against him because of their longtime friendship. While Carper/Biden/Castle had a lock on the top 3 positions in Delaware not once would you see Biden/Carper campaign against Castle or Castle Campaign against Biden/Carper. So we never really had strong democrats running against Castle for the house seat and well, that's where Christine O'Donnell came in.

You see, no one wanted to tackle the race against Carper or Biden because they knew the numbers - overwhelmingly democratic registration along with 2 very popular people in Delaware means that Carper & Biden were shoo-in's for the senate. Castle never bothered to run against either of them even though he would have truly been a challenge to either democrat but instead kept with his safe house seat. As a favor, democrats never ran any serious candidates against Castle.

So when Biden went on to VP it opened up a can of worms. Now Castle could run for senate since it was an open seat. And since Castle was going to go to the senate, the Dems ran a serious candidate for the house seat with former Lt. Gov John Carney running for the US House. It all seemed hunky dory except one of those perennial loser republicans decided she wanted to run too. Christine O'Donnell started to run for senate almost as soon as she was eligible to run (she just moved to Delaware) and the DEGOP didn't really care because they really weren't going to put any effort into unseating Carper or Biden - they knew their house seat was safe for Castle.

So I have a feeling that Ms. O'Donnell isn't going away anytime soon. And I also have a feeling that in the DE Congress there will be an attempt to change our primaries to an open primary. O'Donnell got to where she is today because only 55k republicans voted in the primaries, no democrats or independents could vote. Had that been an open primary I could see Castle winning easily.

4. OMG it's in there?

And she did it in front of a group of students at Widener Law School, the school where Biden use to teach Constitutional Law up until he was picked as a VP (he regular taught a class on Saturday Mornings, that's how we knew he got the VP pick - he cancelled out on the class the day he was selected)

5. I like
How the Tea Party Movement is always about "the people" and what "the people" want. But they keep proving they're not for "the people" but "their group." If you're not protecting everyone, you're not for "the people."

And the next time someone debates O'Donnell and she asks where "Separation of church and state" is in the Constitution, they should pull a copy of the Constitution out of their pocket and say, "Here, I'll point it out to you."
