This mailer tells voters to "Vote Republican." It also provides a pre-addressed return label to the Steuben County Board of Elections. But the Board wants you to know it's not coming from them.

"All we know is that it came somewhere from Albany. We do not know who sent the mailer out," said Vicky Olin of the Steuben County Board of Elections.

And members of the Republican Party don't think it was someone in their party, simply because the mailer doesn't show support for any candidate in particular.

Just because you receive an official-looking document in the mail doesn't mean it actually is official. And that's exactly the case with a mailer being sent out to people across Steuben and Chemung counties.
