The gas tank ate my DU donation

I was all ready for the fund drive, I'd been holding money all month knowing that the fund drive would start on Sunday last, good intentions, reality however, that cold bitch slapped us right in the face.
Gasoline is going for 3.30 a gallon here and my wife drives everywhere in her work, her company is trying to help their employees with the burden, but, being a non profit their budget is stretched pretty thin as well.

So, if things don't go completely to hell in the next ten days, and if gas will level off so we can learn to deal with it, i'll throw into the kitty then, I bet we're not the only people being squeezed like this. I must say though things have gotten really quiet around here with more people sitting tight.

1. Prices at the pump will level off after Memorial Day

Watch and see.
It will most likely be above $3.00/gal. now that they have stuck that up our asses. But they will level off a little.

Every holiday, the prices sky rocket, then come down a bit. They never come down as much as they went up for that "MSM stated reason of the season."

3. I paid $3.99 per gallon last week. I had to have it pumped since I'm on

crutches right now and my car only takes premium. I've not been driving for a while due to surgery and I was SHOCKED.
