The top two female Republican candidates in California are raising eyebrows because they won't be appearing with Sarah Palin at a GOP rally in Anaheim next week.

Both Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina are skipping the event - saying they have conflicting campaign stops.

A new Field Poll released this week indicates Palin isn't well liked here in California - with only 33% of those polled viewing her favorably.

2. Look for wall-to-wall coverage of this snub
Sometime around the 12th of Never. The breathless "Sarah Palin endorses X!" coverage is reserved only for those candidates who need a campaign shot in the ass from Quitterella. Republican candidates who scatter when Palin comes to town don't merit any coverage for some reason.

4. Since the event's in Anaheim, that's entirely possible...
...that was my first thought, 100% in O.C. averaged across the remainder of the state.
