2. At DU CAPTIONing has been a verb. That is, it's creative, but we try to

channel the essence of the person, making the caption truer than true. In this case, I didn't change much of what he said but collapsed it to show the absurdity. The third general screen on Media Matters, at http://mediamatters.org/ , gave me the ideas pretty directly in this case. Usually I have to tweek or torque or exaggerate the words . . . not here. (God help us.)
