Karl Rove Hands Ohio Dems an Early Gift

The always polarizing Karl Rove made an appearance on the campus of Oberlin College yesterday evening to speak about the 2010 elections. What he probably failed to mention was that his appearance seemed to energize and mobilize Democrats in this critical state better than anyone else could.

If there was any question about whether or not Ohio Democrats had lost their edge, it can easily be laid to rest this morning as over 150 activists and students lined the street across from Oberlin's Finney Chapel to vocally denounce Rove, Trade Czar Rob Portman, Congressman John Kasich (R-Wall Street), Car Salesman Tom Ganley, and their harmful economic policies.

Here's a look at the scene yesterday...

1. Oberlin?
Why on earth would he go there? It is one of the most liberal colleges around. But I'm glad he went there if it gets people
there mobilized.

3. Karl Rove is a piece at play right now...
He was attacked instantly and viciously by the right because he dared question O'Donnell's win. Rove may be a douchebag, but he is a douchebag who is a near-genius as far as politics go. So what if Rove was pissed of by the insolence of the right-wing peons and decided to work against them from within? It's not above his ilk who are prone to vindicative political acts. He could probably do it in such a way that the teabaggers actually think that he is trying to help them.
