Former U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg: 'I really don't know' if President Obama is Muslim born in the US/
They just can't help themselves.

When asked this morning on a Battle Creek radio show whether President Obama was born in America, and if he believed the president is Muslim, former U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg said he didn't know.

"We don't have enough information about this president," said Walberg, the Republican candidate who is challenging U.S. Rep. Mark Schauer, D, Battle Creek.

1. And what are you, Walberg? Some kind of closet Swede
with a strange, Pre-Gustavus Adolphus Luthero-Scandinavian world view?

2. I have no information on Walberg.
I've read about him on his Web site, but I can't believe any of it. It could just be lies to make me think he's Christian guy who was born in Illinois. I mean... I wasn't there when he was born, so I don't really know. I just don't have the facts. Can't ask his family, they'll just lie for him.

Has anyone seen him go to church lately? Not that it matters. Even if you saw him, it's probably just an election year stunt. Although, if he's really good at it, he probably goes to church all the time so it's not so obvious. Either way, we don't really know what's in his heart. It's probably all for show so that Christian voters will identify with him.

Hey, his site says he fought to make health care more affordable. But since my premiums and copays have gone up, I can only presume that he failed. Even the flu shot is more expensive this year. That's sort of a lie right there on his Web site, so all the rest is probably lies, too. I just don't really know.

We can't take his word for anything. And we can't just believe the paper trail and official documents. Or his family and friends. We should demand answers for this clearly well-organized, multi-decade conspiracy. Why can't he just prove all this and end the controversy?

3. He's a 'pastor', natch.
Walberg was born and educated in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduating high school, he became a member of the U.S. Forest Service. Walberg soon left this work and entered Fort Wayne Bible College, now Taylor University, where he was trained as a minister. He also obtained a M.A. from Wheaton College. He served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1998. Since 1999, his seat has been held by former State Rep. Doug Spade and currently by State Rep. Dudley Spade, both Democrats. Walberg also spent time as a pastor and as a division manager for the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois while continuing to live in Michigan.<3>
