US walks out on Ahmadinejad's UN speech

US walks out on Ahmadinejad's UN speech
AP

By ALI AKBAR DAREINI, Associated Press Writer – 1 hr 13 mins ago

UNITED NATIONS – The U.S. delegation walked out of the U.N. speech of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday after he said some in the world have speculated that Americans were behind the Sept. 11 terror attacks, staged in an attempt to assure Israel's survival.

He did not explain the logic of that statement that was made as he attacked the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ahmadinejad has called for the destruction of Israel and is deeply at odds with the United States and European allies over its nuclear program and suspicions that it is designed to produce an atomic bomb. Iran says it is only working on technology for electricity generation.

The U.S. delegation left the hall after Ahmadinejad said there were three theories about the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks:

_That "powerful and complex terrorist group" penetrated U.S. intelligence and defenses.

_"That some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order also to save the Zionist regime. The majority of the American people as well as other nations and politicians agree with this view."

The Americans stood and walked out without listening to the third theory, that the attack was the work of "a terrorist group but the American government supported and took advantage of the situation."

4. Ahmadinejad's weakened
his accusation by saying that the U.S. MIHOP to boost Israel but it was thought by some that Bush/Cheney sought to control the mideast oil and consequently, world power, as insane as they were.

7. What would happen if we found out the entire world felt that way?
...that the US was living in some sort of national denial, where we are the only ones who believe we were actually attacked on 9/11.

What if we found out the entire world thinks that our government staged 9/11 as an excuse to attack other resource rich countries?

9. this is interesting
German Federal Judge Dieter Deiseroth: Numerous 9/11 Theories Screaming For Investigation

Federal Judge Dieter Deiseroth: “It is very unfortunate that the media are not prepared to face the issue of 9/11 and ask the unanswered questions.”

Question: Do you think the proposal of an independent 9/11 investigation is realistic?

Judge Dieter Deiseroth: I think the suggestion is reasonable and necessary. Because the official investigation is the central justification for the war ( “Operation Enduring Freedom”) and for serious alterations of the U.S. legal system under the so-called homeland security legislation.

Question: This should be difficult because neither politics nor the big media, dare to critically question the official version of 9/11.

Judge Dieter Deiseroth: If the official story of 9/11 is further effectively disseminated by all governments – then it is very costly and difficult because of the effect of solidified public opinion to question it . A major research effort is needed and extensive research, time and monetary resources must be available, which is difficult in a time when resources in the newsrooms are being cut down.

But then after all, even the construct of lies to justify the Iraq war was brought down. We now know that the Bush administration, in terms of credibility and veracity, was anything but trustworthy. It is unfortunate that many within the media, are still not sufficiently prepared to face the issue of 9 / 11 and the open unanswered questions . Maybe also because of the abyss that becomes clear then.

Question: Not too long ago alternative explanations of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US were discussed.

Judge Dieter Deiseroth: Indeed. Parliamentarians of the Democratic Party of Japan, which has won the last election in a landslide, for about 2 years in the Japanese parliament, have repeatedly questioned the official Bush version of 9 / 11 with very serious arguments and demanded explanations. Something like this did not take place in German parliament, which is rather unfortunate.

10.  UN Could Lead New 9/11 Investigation, Says Japanese MP
Fujita, an MP for the Japanese Democratic Party, and a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature), presented evidence which contradicted the official 9/11 story during a widely publicized Japanese Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee meeting in January of this year.

"This is something Parliamentarians of various countries could ask - I was in Europe meeting with European MP's and they are also thinking about asking the UN to investigate, so these kind of efforts need to be done internationally," said Fujita, adding that he had visited eleven different European countries in an attempt to garner support for the move...

The Japanese MP said that he first began researching 9/11 around two years ago after watching documentaries and looking at evidence online.

"At the beginning I thought I couldn't believe, this can't be true, but then last year when I heard more about various facts and photos of the collapse of the seven building (WTC 7) and the put options conducted before 9/11 - I began to see that there was serious evidence that a cover-up might have been involved,"...

The MP personally visited the former President of Germany's Bundesbank (presumably Ernst Welteke), who admitted that suspicious insider trading on American and United Airlines did take place immediately before 9/11.

12. Okay, holocaust denial, no gays in Iran, trutherism.
Let's start a poll for his next position.

Personally, I'm torn: I'm thinking he either starts asking for Obama's birth certificate or he starts railing against vaccines.
