A plan by conservative groups to look into allegations of voter fraud could amount to an illegal obstacle to citizens' right to vote, a liberal group said Monday.

The group One Wisconsin Now said that it had obtained an audio recording of a tea party leader in June outlining plans to work with the state Republican Party and another group, Americans for Prosperity, and use postcards to verify voters' addresses as well as provide volunteer poll workers to challenge voters on Election Day.

4. And the true Tea Party goal is to reduce sufferage to property-owning white folks
(Which is weird, because a fair amount of Teabaggers live in apartments or rental trailers and wouldn't be able to vote if the election laws really went there).

2. This story is untrue!
After all, Republicans follow the rule of law. They would never try to impede the right of anyone to vote for the...<snicker>...candidate...<giggle>...of....their...<HEHE>...choice.

Damn. I almost said it with a straight face.

A few years ago an elected officials son was involved in tire slashing, etc. The Republicans made a huge brouhaha about it. Always a bad thing when it comes back to bite you in the end.

5. I remember the tire shredding incident in Milwaukee. ...
...the right has been very busy in Wisconsin for a long time trying to prove (in the media at least) that there is huge voter fraud being perpetrated by the left. All part of their strategy to demonize the opposition.
