My addendum to the current Greatest Thread
Edited on Thu Sep-16-10 12:20 PM by DrSteveB
Our greatest current thread has an analysis stating that we can end up with 69 Senate seats in November; that is, a 38 seat lead, up from the current 18.

I'd like to state that while our party can certainly do that, the odds of me hitting the lotto twice today are greater.

We can win Arkansas, we are told, despite Blanche being down by 16%. We can win Indiana, despite being down by 20%. Etcetera.

I do not think the Republicans will control the Senate though, which is good news.

Its good though, to learn that we are very optimistic people.

2. Because I wanted to make a whole thread instead

More readers will know how much of a realist I am.

Plus I am doing us all a favor. The more we expect, the bigger the disappointment will be if we say, lose 3 or 4 seats, as predicted by real experts.

I would hate to tell a patient with advanced Cancer that he will recover in 3 months.

3. Blanche down by 16%?
Yesterday someone said she was down by 30%? 14% overnight? Whoa!!

We can, and we should win it all. The republicans are a sorry ass lot and they need to be beaten down, and if we have what it takes they will be beaten.

The rest is just conjecture and polls.

The truth is NO republicans should be elected.
