Anyone else hear NPR's latest abomination regarding the Tea Party?
They had some clown on from the National Journal, who was practically giving these ass-nuggets claiming the mantle of "tea-partier" everything but a halo and set of wings!

Here are some of the points he made about the movement:

- NO racist attitudes exist within the TP

- NO visible leaders on a national level

- NO big money pushing the movement forward

- it's a DIVERSE and AMORPHOUS movement!!!!!

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129874282

If I wasn't actually in the shower at the time I heard the report, I would have turned it off after he made the "no racism" claim, but as it was, I could do nothing but bang my head against the wall of the shower stall!

3. It was sickening
The dimwit was able to spew his laudatory nonsense without being challenged on anything, even when he said the Tea Party members are predominately white (of course) and "highly educated" (lightest and brightest). I have yet to see a Tea Party rally that had even one participant who looked halfway bright. Hopefully, NPR's phones are ringing off the hook.

4. YES! Great point about that mention of them being "highly educated"!
Another head-banging moment for me, and I thank you for bringing up that detail as well!

5. I stopped listening and donating to NPR almost a year ago.
They've become Fox Lite.

6. "Who Is The Tea Party? There's No Short Answer"
"Morning Edition takes a closer look at this diverse, amorphous movement"

NPR is correct. There is no short answer, if it wants to dance around what it really is, and who are the financiers behind it. Just calling the Tea Party a "diverse and amorphous" movement tells anyone with an ounce of gray matter that whatever explanations they offer will be outright BS. What makes the Tea Party diverse? Is it only because the members are male and female, from groups located in different states? It certainly isn't diverse in its racial makeup, average age, and creed, which is caucasian, middle aged, and allegedly "practicing" Christians.

My daily movements on the porcelain throne are often more diverse and amorphous than the Tea Party is, sometimes a solid log, sometimes chunks, sometimes diarrhea, but in the end, it is still considered shit, and the Koch brothers and Dick Armey are the shit that funds and controls the Tea Party "movement".
