1. Be careful what you wish for . Don't underestimate the
stupidity of the American public. I don't care how much the establishment Republicans dislike her when it comes around to the election they will vote Republican.

4. But Delaware doesn't have that many Republicans.
There are over 100,000 more Democrats than Republicans -- they were willing to vote for Mike Castle because 1) he was a known quantity (has been in one office or another since 1980) and was a largely moderate and inoffensive Republican. Christine O'Donnell is not expected to be their kind of candidate, and there's no Democratic incumbent to vote against.

3. I can't celebrate a victory of someone as fundamentally fucked up as her
especially when she has a pretty good chance of getting elected. People voted for her--and that means some of them, at least, agree with her inherently fucked up beliefs.
