There's a big difference between Nancy Pelosi and john boner.
Pelosi leads her party and boner follows his. I don't think Pelosi gets enough credit. She's pretty much the most effective Speaker of the House of my lifetime. Just look at all the progressive legislation she pushed through that died in the Senate. Her HCR bill had a public option. Basically anything the president has wanted has passed the House and it's all thanks to Pelosi. As a matter of she's done such a good job that she's become a victim of her own success. The House Democrats' poll numbers are so fluid now because they've done so much. As for Boner he couldn't even get his party to back bush's TARP program and damn near cried on the House floor. He's weak and if they do take power his tenure will be shorter than gingrich's. I give him 2 years as speaker if we lose the House.
