<disclaimer> I ain't sure which ex-wife or girlfriend he's with here. Okay, it seems to be the unfortunately named Callista wifey, who appears in this photo to be some type of android trying to block Newt's pot-gut.

'This Is The Final Struggle:' Newt Gingrich Sells A Movie About The Islamic Threat To America

In a straight-to-DVD movie that will premiere tomorrow night in D.C., Newt Gingrich and Citizens United warn Americans of the impending threat of radical Islam. As one of their talking heads says in the trailer, "This is the end of times. This is the final struggle."

The movie, called "America At Risk," paints the world as a dangerous place filled with radicalized Muslims who want to -- and, importantly, can -- destroy America.

"The war on terror, and the ideology behind it, have only just begun," Gingrich's wife, Callista Gingrich, intones while she and Gingrich stand in front of a green-screened New York skyline.

The trailer can be viewed at the link. Yuck.

These people have no shame.

2. Frankly, by the time the campaign starts
He'll probably have a new wife, frankly.

Maybe they can, frankly, photoshop her face over Callista's, frankly.

3. No shame is a deep concept.
Edited on Sun Sep-12-10 01:39 AM by RandomThoughts
It is sometimes confused with no ego.

For instance, in a discussion it does not bother me if someone disagrees, nor does it bother me if someone thinks badly about me, when I have thought on something and see it differently. (However sometimes that can help me think on topics and thoughts. As can kindness from people.)

However it would bother me if I felt I did something wrong, and try to think on my actions and thoughts to see if they are correct or wrong.

It is a fine line, and some replace not having to much pride, with removal of conscious.

Not sure about Newt, I would like him to explain to himself what America is. And if he can do that honestly it would explain alot of his views. Then ask if he can honestly say the same thing to people. But when doing it, every word he uses in that explanation has to have a thought on what it means.

So if America means being free, for instance, then what free means would have to be thoroughly explored with thought and feeling.

Or just watch a fun movie clip.

Very funny post. And yet serious also, very beautiful.

4. He'd love to be president but if he runs it's only to make more money.
He knows he's too hated and too despicable to win, but by running, or pretending every couple of years that he might run, he keeps his name in the spotlight, which gets him bigger speaking fees and sells dumb-ass shit like this DVD.

More importantly, it keeps him influential. He gets a small following with his absolutist agenda, and he can then push candidates around, making them bow to his commands to pick up his faction of voters. I don't know, and I'm too lazy to research, whether he still has his GOPAC, but his constant grandstanding keeps funds flowing into whatever PAC he controls these days, which also keeps candidates begging for his approval.

So it keeps him wealthy and influential, without having to think or do any real work. So he'll keep dancing the presidential mamba with the media.

6. Newt is the biggest piece of shit on two legs. He may not be the worst human being
of all time, but he is probably in the top ten.
He wants attention, power and money, but I'm not sure about the order...

20. Newt was indeed the biggest wind bag...
I'm not sure how much they overlapped. Tom was not the only sleaze, but he so looked the part. But it was a strongly aromatic bunch. Armey, Gramm, ick! A pile of shits, as it were.

What irks me most about Newt is the "professor" routine, where he peddles his lectures on revisionist histories as scholarship. Pukin' is called for!

22. One of my sisters in law thinks Newt is, "Just so SMART!" She is really impressed
with his "professor" BS - she thinks he is a wonderful human being and can't understand why everyone does not love him....he probably can't either.

What really irks ME about Neut is that he recevied Federal government help at every step of his life, from childhood through his college degrees and teaching career, and yet he would deny everyone else the same.

9. The Epitome Of Dellusional
That pretty much sums up Gnewt's "career"...big ego with little to really show for it. I'm sure in his self-centered world he should have run in every election since '88 but that he was just too damn good. Of course reality says different as his name has been political box office poison and still is. Except for his pals in the corporate media, Gnewt has zero base...he's even viewed among rushpublicans as a past, failed pol whose filandering would be a major issue should he really scratch that huge ego of his. Bottom line is Gnewt attempts to be relevant but his chances of winning a GOOP nomination is about the same as Howard Dean winning that nomination.

my local ex-radio pet wingnut says he is totally repulsed by the Grinch, that the wingnut recognizes his complete p.o.s.-ness.
