There’s actually something like the 1994 “Contract” out there.

Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, senior Republican on the House Budget Committee, has laid out a 99-page “Roadmap for America’s Future.”

Among other things, it would reduce personal income taxes, end the corporate income tax and the estate tax, and privatize some of Social Security.

Critics say it “calls for radical policy changes that would result in a massive transfer of resources from the broad majority of Americans to the nation’s wealthiest individuals.”"


Oh, boy! I can't wait to hear the republican tea party slime talk about their "roadmap". Sounds like more corporate welfare for the already rich and famous. They really can't come up with any other ideas other than to make the rich richer. Idiots!

2. The Democrats MUST go on the attack. Must point out the republican platform which is to

destroy social security and medicare, remove ALL regulation, don't want to extend unemployment benefits, or give tax breaks to small businesses. Put emphasis on the fact that it was year of repuke control of Congress and the executive branch that brought us to where we are today
