Glenn Beck very angry about Glenn Beck's characterization of Glenn Beck's event

As Media Matters has noted, after a long year of claiming he would "reclaim the civil rights movement" with his 8-28 rally at the Lincoln Memorial which was touched by "divine providence," Beck has started scaling back those grandiose claims, hoping against hope that no one would remember anything he's said in the past year.

In one such instance today, Beck ignored a cardinal rule for those interested in lying about their record: Destroy the evidence.

See, today, Beck complained that "the media" have renamed "Divine Destiny" -- his 8-27 Kennedy Center event -- "Glenn Beck's Divine Destiny." "The media" did this, Beck explained, to suggest that Beck is appointing himself to a Divine Destiny. "Yes, I'm going to announce that I'm Jesus on Friday, and only Martin Luther King on Saturday, but that's it!" Beck sarcastically added...

Wow that does sound unfair. Who would call the event "Glenn Beck's Divine Destiny," cruelly suggesting that Beck is making grandiose and religious claims about the event? It turns out that "the media" Beck was referring could have easily been media personality Glenn Beck, who posted this on his website on August 11: ...
