Freepers piss & moan as "Obama enjoys his sixth vacation of the year in the shadow of nuclear Iran"
Freeper thread:

Obama vacations in the shadow of a nuclear Iran: The massive failure of Obama’s foreign policy
The London Telegraph ^ | August 22, 2010 | Nile Gardiner

Posted on Saturday, August 21, 2010 4:52:50 PM by 2ndDivisionVet

While President Obama enjoys his sixth vacation of the year, at the exclusive playground of America’s liberal elites at Martha’s Vineyard, the United States’ most dangerous state-based adversary on the world stage is celebrating the opening of its first nuclear reactor, the Russian-built power plant at Bushehr. Although purportedly for civilian purposes, there can be no doubt that this is a huge leap forward for Iran’s nuclear weapons programme, with US officials acknowledging Iran is just “12 months from a nuclear weapon.” Earlier this week, Tehran announced it was building 10 uranium enrichment plants in protected mountain strongholds, and on Friday the Iranian regime ominously test-fired a new surface to surface missile, with an undisclosed range.

It isn’t a failure to the radical Black Muslim groups like the Black Panthers, Reverend Wright, Nation of Islam and the insane far left. Its part of the plan.

Obama is VERY effective.

Dear Yahoo!:

How many vacation days has George W. Bush taken to date as president? How does that compare with Clinton?
Vince

West Hollywood, California

Dear Vince:

While the president of the United States is never completely on vacation, most commanders-in-chief manage to enjoy a respite from the daily grind during their stay the White House. George W. Bush seems to have taken this to the extreme early in his tenure as president. A humorous, fake resume for Bush suggests that he set the record for most days on vacation by any president in U.S. history -- a bit of an exaggeration, but still cause for some teasing.

According to an August 2003 article in the Washington Post, President Bush has spent all or part of 166 days during his presidency at his Crawford, Texas, ranch or en route. Add the time spent at or en route to the presidential retreat of Camp David and at the Bush family estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, and Bush has taken 250 days off as of August 2003. That's 27% of his presidency spent on vacation. Although to be fair, much of this time is classified as a "working vacation."

4. Someone noted that he took his top 2 military advisors with him.
I'm not sure if that is normal but he seems to be prepared if something happens.

Carter liked to take one of each... Clinton tended for the same balance.

Bush Jr was the one who took the least number of staffers... and it showed. Though after 9.11 he took the whole cabinet. And Reagan took so many that it WAS the WH West.

Now if a real emergency arises, they have so much comms that they can run the country from anywhere. Why I called BS on Bush not doing his job on 9.11. I doubt, honestly, he knew the true capacity of AF 1... and I doubt he cared either.

In that piece of info. It looks like instead of that we are getting Israeli Palestinian talks.

18. Well that imminent attack on Iran
has had the WORST OPSEC in Military History... four years and still waiting!

:-)

Of course the people spreading that lovely one are relying on Davka who's been right, I think, once... the old adage about broken clocks applies.

Nah if I had to give a good reason why he took both, apart of the I\P problem is quite brutally honest they knew we are pulling out of Iraq, so that one will get ahem... a flare up... and there is an offensive right now in Afghanistan... and of course Kim has gotten a little too loud, and given the speed bump is down to 25K troops...

this week they are at Martha's Vineyard.

Oh and still that pumps money into the local area, between the staff he drags along and the press... I guess finding a room at Martha's will be hard.

12. All their guys are ALWAYS on vacation...ALWAYS
Shrub was on vacation almost half his term at this point and was only slowed down by 9/11. If I recall, Ronnie Rayguns had the record but Junie ran him down.

All their guys are straight chillin, probably even Ike, I got like a thousand images in my mind of him playing golf and I wasn't a thought. I bet Nixon put in time, he had a lot of direct hand in his dirt.

Wait! Should I type Iraq or Iran? Does anybody know if there's any difference? Aren't they the same country? ... Anybody? ... Nobody knows? ... Well, the hell with it then! I'll just type Iraq. We can always invade Iran later"

would have ever happened and it wouldn't be an issue

Where are the freepers on the cause of the problem?
