9. It won't
if you plan correctly! But, sometimes microbrews influence your planning in a negative way...

2. He has a way with words
Howard Dean has not been given enough credit for how he re-energized the Democratic party and was a big part of the comeback they had. He should be put in charge of Dem strategy again.

3. Dean is wrong. He's talking about compromising
Edited on Thu Aug-19-10 07:38 PM by ProSense
when he should know compromising in this situation is wrong. He talks of well-meaning people disagreeing with building the center in that location. Appeasing well-meaning people is not a reason to deny the Constitutional rights of the group.

There were a lot of supposedly well-meaning people (not the neocons) arguing in favor of invading Iraq, most of the American people supported it. There are times when one shouldn't cave to majority opinion when they know they're based on flawed assumptions.

He is talking about educating people by appeasing ignorance.

7. Talking?
Edited on Thu Aug-19-10 07:43 PM by ProSense
They've been talking. The Mayor has weighed in eloquently.

Dean is talking about starting a discussion that was started long ago before the RW introduced fear.

10. Both Dean and Obama are wise but not strong enough.
We need unwavering resolve, and we need it now.
