Everyone loves the word "Stryker"...
All the talking heads just repeat and repeat it endlessly, but they're not alone...

Anyone who's done a turn in Medicine, dentistry, Hospital work, knows that medical personnel drop that word anytime that they can...it's a brand of surgical equipment...I noticed it many years ago during my training...

Get me the Stryker...Use a Stryker,...the have a Stryker set-up...she threw up right on the Stryker...

It's a very appealing word in its own right...weirdly...'cause it sure implies a lot of horrible things...

6. Of course...
and it was quite fascinating to hear the use of the word, oh, about 600 times an hour last night...just remarking upon it, not criticizing it...I'm guilty of that with some other words in my workplace as well.

9. Yeah I have never heard word stryker mean anything else.

When I was rolling around in a lightly armored HMMWV what I wouldn't have given to be a Stryker unit.

usually not in flames though. It's screwy that despite all the money we spend on the military, many of the projects that come out of it have numerous flaws or don't truly meet the requirements.

14. Stryker! Stryker!

Hanging Lady: Nervous?
Ted Striker: Yes.
Hanging Lady: First time?
Ted Striker: No, I've been nervous lots of times.

Rex Kramer: Our only hope is to build this man up. We gotta give him all the confidence we can.

Rex Kramer: Striker, have you ever flown a multi-engine plane before?
Ted Striker: No, never.
Rex Kramer: Shit. This is a God damn waste of time. There's no way he can land this plane.
