Of course she'd defend "Dr." Laura. Neither of those two nincompoops have the faintest understanding of their First Amendment right to free speech, so maybe we should tell them:

Lookie here, you knuckleheads. The First Amendment says this: "Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech..." In other words, the government can't punish you, "Dr." Laura, for saying the N-word on the radio eleven times. And it didn't. You can express whatever offensive, obnoxious, racist, perverse, or otherwise dunderheaded opinion you want on your radio show and the government won't, and can't, do a thing about it. However, other people whom you have offended, disgusted or pissed off can influence the radio station owner -- a private business -- to remove your nasty self from the public airwaves. That's the deal. The government will let you say what you want, but you may have to pay the price in the court of public option.

Sucks to be either of you dumb, whiny nitwits. But now that "Dr." Laura is going to have a little more free time, maybe she could spend some of it actually reading the damn Constitution. Lady Blah Blah should do likewise, but that would involve actual reading, which we know she doesn't do. Except for all of those newspapers.
