I am not surprised by all of the Falwell posts or the amount of hate
that people feel for this "man."

Falwell was a man who preached hate and intolerance. He was not a nice person.

I am not dancing on his grave today, but I am certainly not shedding any tears. If some of you are insulted by the opinions being expressed about Falwell, then don't read the posts. There are a lot of people who have reason to feel hatred towards this hate monger...don't condemn them for speaking their true feelings.

I can tell you right now -- there are certain members of our current administration whose deaths will bring me nothing but joy. I won't be hiding my feelings, either.

1. Falwell made the world a much worse place with his hatred.
Live by the hate, die by the hate.

3. Exactly...that is my point exactly.
I feel no compassion for someone who was so full of hate.

4. You are right -- there is a difference.
There is also a difference between being a loving Christian and being a hate spewing "Christian."

Falwell spewed hate -- does he deserve compassion from those he hated?

7. No he does not. But there are more choices than compassion or nasty.
Pick another choice is what I am saying. Don't be compassionate or sorry. Don't be nasty. Be glad, but not nasty.
