Levi Johnston signs reality TV deal days after breaking off engagement to baby mama Bristol Palin

LOS ANGELES - Looks like cold country hunk Levi Johnston is getting a reality show instead of a wedding video.

TMZ.com reports Johnston signed a reality TV deal over the weekend, just days after Bristol Palin said she broke off their engagement over his thirst for the limelight.

The new show will shoot first in Los Angeles and then head back to Alaska, TMZ reported. It's not yet clear what the format will be, but several networks are reportedly interested, TMZ said.

Calls to Johnston's manager and lawyer were not immediately returned.

This is what happened:

Levi did some research and found out it was gonna be cheaper to marry Bristol than to have her name filed off his finger--and if your kid's mom was the daughter of Sarah Palin, you KNOW you wouldn't forget to make your child support payments. (Quick question for Alaskan DUers: is there an Inuit word for "hit man"?)

Two days after the engagement, Levi came home drunk off his ass, whispered something in her ear, and said "come on baby, if you love me you'll do it." Bristol got really pissed and started slapping him and screaming, "Levi, you piece of shit, you are NOT bringing a hockey stick to bed!"

Three days later, Levi suggested, "maybe I should get a reality show of my own. It's so easy even your mom can do it, and I'll make so much money drinking beer and playing hockey for the camera I won't have to ever worry about getting a job." At this Bristol went ballistic: "Get out! Get out! Get out! I fucking TOLD you! Only WE are allowed to make reality shows! You know what's going to happen if you get one of those shows, don't you? You're going to be at Mom's house drunk off your ass like you always are, and I'm going to be sitting there embarrassed as shit because you're the only one in the house who's making sense, and you'll tell Trig, "go to mommy." And you know who he'll go to, don't you? ME! God dammit, you'll destroy my mother in front of the whole fucking country, and I won't have it! Get your shit and get out! Now!"
