Confusion leads to curiosity.
So I'm just curious about something relating to the rec/unrec feature. I've noticed that some OPs stay on the greatest page even after they've been unrec'd to below 5. It seems to me after watching this phenomenon for a while now, that it isn't every OP, just some. Seems to be connected to the poster rather than the OP topic or OP category.

Do some posters/members have extra privileges that allow posts that at one time had 5 or more recs to remain on the greatest page regardless of unrecs? Or is there some other explanation?

I'd post a link to one, but then it would appear as though I was calling a poster out.
