Sign a Birthday Card to Obama.

This is an electronic BDay card for the President. All you have to do is enter your name, email addy, zip code, and there's room for a short message if you want.

Granted the second page is a fund raiser, and I didn't bother with that, but you can of course if you choose to.

I think it's a nice thing to do.

4. I got to thinking about this
I did this when this came up a week or so ago (which still probably wasn't the first time). But I got to thinking about it. It's dumb plain and simple. No one, and I mean no one will read them all. Truth is, the vast majority won't get read at all. They might print a few as part of his "daily 10". But other than some "tote board" that insiders will talk about, and future presidents will claim to have exceeded, it serves no real purpose. It's a fund raising ploy plain and simple.

8. Same way all those "polls" are
I get about 6 a year, surveys from the DNC and others that "want to know my opinion" and ask me a bunch of red meat questions, with the appeal for cash attached. Yeah, you can send it back without cash, no one reads it. No one reads it if you DO send it back with cash. But if you don't consider that a fund raising effort, fine. They do.
