http://politifact.com/ohio/statements/

It may lead to better facts from the political folks or it may just be there.

Anyway, I thought it was a good thing that a newspaper was actually starting to practice journalism again.

I wonder how many other papers across the country are doing the same.

1. Politifact at the St Petersburg Times has won the Pulitzer

Looks like that's what the P-D has subscribed to - good for them!

http://www.politifact.com/

It's got the Obamameter as well - tracking how well he's keeping over 500 campaign promises.

I wish more papers did this.

2. Good for them!
I'll have to see if the LA Times is doing this...

I rather doubt it, though.

4. I love TCM....that said I saw a movie not too long ago about
investigating reporting. The reporters were looking into some scheme. The movie of course was made in the 50's. But I was thinking where are those type of reporters today. Why don't we still have reporters out there who are going into the crooked and corruptness of big corporations, and crooked politicans and all around crooked CROOKS. All we have are pretty little blond or a hunky hunk sitting in front of a camera and reading what their masters stick in front of them. Most of what they read is manufactured lies done so to try to discourage us from trusting the Democrats. And this we pay cable or satellite companies to see. What a joke.

6. Doesn't make any difference! ....
The people who believe that bullshit on Fux Snews and those viral emails aren't interest in fact checking. Seen it time and time again.

They believe what they want to believe.

Alternate universe.
