It is up to me.
.

I cannot stand by and watch the Republicans take back the House and/or Senate. No matter how much I might disagree with Barack Obama's approach to governing, I must do all that I can to see that we do not return to Republican rule.

I would like to believe that we could have gotten a single payer system thru Congress. I would like to believe we could have done more with the reform of Wall Street and financial regulation. But, to be honest, I am not so sure that it was possible with the present make-up, primarily conservative Demcrats, in the Senate? Perhaps the President got all he could get? Perhaps not? But it doesn't matter. We would have gotten none of it with a Republican in charge.

So I will stand up and fight these folks that aim to do us all harm.

SAY IT LOUD SO THAT EVEN THE REPUBLICANS WITH A HEARING PROBLEM CAN HEAR IT.

No! You are not going to exempt your death taxes any longer !

No! We are not going to extend the Bush taxcuts!

No! You cannot have the keys back! You do not know how to drive. You drove us into the ditch.

No! We do not believe everything the media tells us.

No! George W Bush was not a good President! We will not change our minds, no matter how many polls or how much propaganda is put out!

No! We cannot afford the Republican Party any longer.

No! We don't care if you think Obama is a socialist. You think whatever you are told to think.

No! We will not put the Republicans in charge in November. You are living in a fantasy world.

WE ARE GOING TO KEEP THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE THIS NOVEMBER!

1. I am convinced
recent events have led me towards voting a straight Democratic ticket. I'm not fond of Feinstein I'll admit, but she has that letter D after her name.

We cannot let the pukes get power. They are corrupt and evil!

:kick: & recommend.

2. No way would I ever vote for someone without a (D) behind their name, or refrain
from voting. I don't want to live with the consequences of "making a statement". Even if a Dem or two votes the wrong way (Nelson), it's better than having 10 take over 10 Dem seats and vote the wrong way!

This is real life. We'll be disappointed, angry, sold out sometimes. But the thought of the Republicans being in power -- especially with so many whack jobs so vocal, and it seems to be acceptable -- strikes fear into my heart. I would truly fear for our future.

Then onwards and upwards, things can only get better when we make real change this November we only ever hit mirage of 60 senator, and to be real we need Lincoln this time round numbers mean everything. Let's take it safely over 60 and get the train rolling for the first time. It's got to be a safe side of 60 to allow for illness then we're home free. Plus hold strong in the house who deserve most praise as they've worked harder than any house in history. It's steady road to destination prosperity, but if we retreat now we may not see it for decades.

9. Repubs and Tea Baggers have a lot of gall.
Some people have amnesia. They drove our country into the ground. They voted for Bush and Cheney and the oil companies. They voted for debt. They voted for the deficits. They voted for the economic collapse. It wasn't just George W Bush. It was them. Let us put the blame squarely where it belongs. They voted against our nation.

And now they come on their little message boards to criticize the people that are trying to fix the mess they created. They have no shame. Or else, they are ignorant of history and their own actions. They should be on their knees thanking their God that we have someone that cares about this country and does not govern from his "gut".

They are like sheep. They all bleat at the same time. They are a disgrace to our country. They should hide their faces. They don't have the intelligence God gave a goose.

It makes me angry that they are so delusional and out of touch with reality. Do they not remember what we went thru the last 3 months of the Bush Administration? Do they not remember the last eight years? They are as responsible as George W Bush. They cannot run from their own responsibility. They voted for it. Now they want people to believe they are just innocent bystanders. They are guilty as sin.
