11. Shadow Grizzly Dude won't let her run GOP or third party.
He runs the scams and he runs Sarah. He tells her where to go, what to wear, what to say, what to write on her hand and when to take a shit.

28. He ran the government in Alaska when she was Governor. I don't see why it would be different now.
All three branches of government had to run discretionary decisions by him.

13. I totally agree!
Palin does not have the brains to run for POTUS...She is just a fake who is making tons of cash right now and will continue to do so for 2 more years. I doubt she runs.

If she does folks like Newt Gingrich will eat her alive in debates.

She would not be able to handle the job and she knows it. She is going to milk this situation for all it is worth. THE LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil and boy oh boy is she evil.

5. I thought she already did that...
She's suffering under the misguided assumption that she actually has a massive throng of followers and can win. Oh, that thing with Grampy doesn't count. If she had top billing, they would have won!

3. would find it very unlikely
The recent track record for third party candidates having any influence after they've run and had their asses handed to them is pretty poor -- John Anderson, Ross Perot, Ralph Nader...

Sarah does not like to actually work, though she might run just to get the necessary publicity to keep making money. That woman really likes being in the spotlight, especially when it pays so well.

She is an international joke because of her incompetence and ignorance, I'm just not sure she realizes herself yet...also.

8. She never allies herself with anything that will lose
She's not a devoted politician. She's interested in making money and she's found her niche by being outrageous. If she were truly interested in being a public servant or even a self-serving politician she'd still be governor or Alaska.

Third parties are for very committed people, and no one ever accused anyone from a third party of getting rich off of it.

35. What about John McCain?
He's doesn't belong to a third party. And he picked her before she had a taste of the sparkle of fame. It's not politics she's interested in. It's fame and wealth. She just fell into it through politics.

18. She won't run 3rd party.
The ONLY thing she cares about are these words associated with her name:

"Former Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate..."

and the coming

"Former Republican Presidential Candidate..."

These words before her name are currency. She knows that she will never actually get the nomination, and she knows that she will never sit in the Oval. However, those words before her name are worth a mint on the speaking circuit, and for her contract with Fox. "Former Independent Presidential Candidate" is not worth nearly as much. An Independent run would cost her too much, and she's just in it for the money. Once a Republican nominee is selected, she can sit on the sidelines and pundificate, which is not NEARLY as much work as running a campaign.

It's the same scam that Giuliani was running, and it made him rich. She learned the lesson well...

21. Nothing ... won't happen ... she's collecting the money while she can ...
She's about 5 years from being Kay Baily Hutchinson ... and she''l be replaced by the former Ms California, Carrie Prejean, or some other pretty face.

She does not understand Newt and McCain, and Rush and Rudy ... and Sanford, and Vitter ... the men in the GOP trade-in their women every so many years ...

Sarah Palin has a GOP expiration date ... but she doesn't know it yet.

26. I think she'll fade away long before then
One of the things I've noticed in this country, is when one has a high opinion of a celebrity, one becomes disappointed by them very easily. She's been steadily falling in the polls and she'll keep falling as people become enamored by someone new...people tire and get bored fast now a days. The mightier they are - the faster and harder they fall.

31. Agree. She and Todd may have already discussed this, and
if the October to November polling in Iowa isn't looking too promising, they may privately greenlight a third party run in late fall of 2011 only to announce it officially on caucus night at say, 09:00 p.m. Central, in Des Moines, to both launch the indie effort and steal the headline from whoever does win the Republican caucuses.

IMO that would be in keeping with her manipulative, self-serving personality.

36. question ... if the media can be so focused on the "relationship" between Obama
and his minister and how that's horrible for the country, then ...

why isn't the media focusing on how S. Palin kept sleeping with a guy who was good buddies with someone who denounced the U.S. of A.?
