I remember being pissed when Ted Koppel started doing two reports on a single show. It didn't take all that long before it was three stories and a bonus quickee fourth. It's now an 11:35pm version of Entertainment Tonight.

So damned sad.

Heck, I remember when Nightline was a must watch. Remember when it was the end of the program and Koppel decided the issue wasn't discussed/explored enough? He used to say to the camera (but to the programmers), "tell the affiliates we will be going over tonight".

No way anything like that happens now.

caught it a couple of weeks ago and they were interviewing Puff Daddy regarding his parenting skills..... really no bullshit.
