He has made millions of the backs of illegal workers all the while bitching like a typical Repug about deporting them. He knows that they are not here legally, and the only reason he hires them is because he won't pay a decent wage, and Americans won't work for the peanuts he offers. I think if he could just buy them he'd be happy. Asshole.

1. That's what I don't get. These people exploit undocumented
people and make larger profits as a result. Yet they want them deported.

But who ever thought the RW bots ever made sense.

6. The people doing the exploiting dont want them deported. They like to inflam the idiots in their
party. If they owned slaves they would blame the progressives and their gullible followers would buy it.

8. there was a jerk I knew of in NM years ago--would hire the undocumented for his projects, and then,
when it came time to pay them, he would turn them in. got the labor, never had to pay them. WHY the authorities didn't stop him was something I never understood.

17. In a word, sanctioned
Scary, isn't it? Our system requires non-people. We're well on the way to becoming those non-people.

22. They want their employees to be in constant fear ...
... of being deported. That way they can get more out of them. "You don't work unpaid overtime? - I'll turn you in."

7. Corporations are not human and do not have morals. It is their sworn duty to make
a profit. They also have to compete. Cheap labor is there goal. All corporations would use slave labor if they could, and to expect otherwise is foolhardy.

10. Corporations can't "swear" to do anything. People can and do.
But frankly, I wish the idea of corporate "personhood" could be put aside as unworkable and some new concept of corporate responsibility put in place.

21. What I meant is that it is the law that a corporation must attempt to be profitable.
It is the corporations job to be profitable, it is our governments job as our representative to keep them in line with regulations. We, the government, allow them to exist, but they must obey our rules.

9. Properly framed, a slavery proposition would get 40% of the vote in America
place sufficient "cause" or "blame" in there- and as a means for retribution, it would pass handily.

11. Add to it the religious language used to
justify it back in the 19th century and I fear it would go all the way up to 50%... scary times indeed.

14. Don't get mad, get even
Call ICE, call the IRS, and collect evidence to show that he is breaking the law.

Or at the very least destroy the company from the inside.

19. Slavery is expensive. He would be responsible for feeding and housing them...
By exploiting cheap undocumented labor, he can pay them the lowest possible wages and hold the threat of La Migra over their heads. Using cheap, undocumented labor is more cost effective than slavery.
