IMF to US elders: Your cat food is ready!
Thu, 07/08/2010 - 2:24pm — lambert

Pravda:

The Obama administration is overestimating U.S. economic growth and needs to reduce its budget deficit far more aggressively, the International Monetary Fund said on Thursday in a report that targeted Social Security, the home mortgage interest deduction and other politically sensitive policies as ripe for cutting.

Why anybody ever listens to the IMF, I don't know. Their Austerian policies completely fucked up East Asia during that crisis, Brazil, and Argentina (multiple crises). Those countries only recovered when they told the IMF to fuck themselves sideways with something sharp. The only people who benefited from IMF policies were the banksters. Oh, wait...

Could that be the explanation?

1. "a report that targeted Social Security, the home mortgage interest deduction and other"
More of the same old crap. I don't see anything about taxing the uber rich, corporations, banks, or anything other than hurting the little guy.

3. Removing the home interest deduction will make people poorer.
If Obama makes moves in that direction it would be in a second term when he doesn't have to pay a political price. And the shadow government will reward him, as they rewarded Clinton for NAFTA and letting jobs be outsourced.

6. The IMF IS FULL of Chicago School Boys
when it was formed it WAS full of Keynes kids, who understood things like going to deficit to come out of a crisis. You can pretty much time when the Chicago Boys took over, oh c. 1960.

I am not shocked the IMF is coming here next, something about chickens and roost...

7. The IMF has only one purpose; to steal a nations natural and monetary resources
and funnel it to the corporations that fund it (through member nations, of course:eyes:)

8. The IMF is definitely a one-trick pony
Sure, you can take our money.

But it's austerity measures and privatization of government services from now on.

I can only guess that the Bilderbergers sent the message down to the G20 that it's time to ratchet down the Peasantry to the Next Phase of of Grand New Lives under the New Feudalism.

I know, it sounds crazy. I used to think so, too. Of course, back then I used to believe the Bilderbergers didn't exist and were a Conspiracy Theory Hobgoblin. I would routinely mock "Conspiracy Theorists" who believed "in nonexistant nonsense like the Bilderbergers". (my own words in quote)

Surprise suprise! The Bilderbergers DO exist. Not only do they exist but the Internet has allowed media to shine enough of a light upon them that they finally broke down and started their own website.

Just a bunch of the World's Power Elite getting together for a few cozy drinks and laughs - no media allowed - well except the Aristocratic Owners.

Check it out for yourself.

And isn't it strange that the global "austerity craze" began, in unison, across the board and trumpeted from every nation and orifice of the Corporate M$M almost immediately after their most recent meeting in Stiges?

Yep. Time for the Next Phase of Ratcheting Down The Uppity Peasants. The Age of Oil is coming to an end. Time for the Global Aristocratic Elite to take it all back. But in stages and phase, with plenty of plausible deniability, so as not to spook the Peasants.
