The Limbaugh creature
Edited on Wed Jul-07-10 12:43 PM by Cyrano
http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0707/olbermann-calls-oprah-crush-limbaugh/

Each time we think Limbaugh dwells in the lowest sewer imaginable, he finds a deeper one. His racism was never in doubt and now all that's missing is his white robe and hood.

According to this diseased pig of a man, Obama, and now Oprah Winfrey, got where they are because they're black. I find myself wondering when he will spout the "N" word into his microphone, and whether or not anyone will do anything about it.

The above link from rawstory includes the remarks that Keith Olbermann made about him last night. But what's sad is that we have to hear it from Keith, while the majority of so-called "journalists" ignore Limbaugh's existence.

It's been said that "what goes around comes around," but the Limbaugh creature never seems to get his well-deserved comeuppance.

And to this, all I can say is "sigh." It makes one yearn for those mythical days of old when some magical sky wizard used to "smite" people.

2. I've yearned for lightening bolts to come back into fashion many times...
It seems fitting.

This asshat stirs the shit with his like-minded bigots and racists on a daily basis. It's empowering and emboldening to them. It validates them, in a sick and twisted way. Inciting bigotry and racism is Limbaugh's forte... he's quite successful in that regard.

3. The ONLY reason he is where he is because he is White
Can you imagine if a Black person were to spew such hatred on a daily basis. How long do you think they would last on the air..White America would simply not allow it.

Although Imus's remarks wre totally out of line,The constant shit spew that comes from Lush Rimjobs mouth makes Imus's remarks pale in comparison.

I'll never understand.

I had a supervisor at a job a few years ago who was a Fundamentalist Christian,A VERY devote Christian,so much so that he had this "Deer in the Headlights" look about him all the time...Creepy. Yet he took The OxyMoran's word as law...Put it on the same level as the Bible,Scared the crap outta me.

He would wear "DittoHead" t-shirts to work all the time...Yet God forbid I a "Yes We Can" or any other Obama garb to work...He would send me home to change the shirt calling it "inappropriate" Politcal Garb, not suitable for the Workplace.

He was an Asshat.

7. "He was an Asshat." Although I'm an agnostic, it often seems to
me that the Asshat's will inherit the earth. And they seem to be well on their way to doing so.

11. Imus never was a racist, Rush is...
Imus was pushing the envelope, and seemed to have thought he was talking like a rap star with his 'nappy headed ho's' comment describing players on a woman's basketball team. Imus had absolutely no history of racist comments. He was 'talking trash' and was culturally tone deaf when it came to using words which are offensive coming out of a white man's mouth. I'd argue that calling women 'ho's' isn't right coming out of anybody's mouth.

I used to listen to Rush fairly frequently from 1991 to about 1998 or so. Many liberals did. Rush was entertaining back then and there were funny song parodies. I eventually tired of his schtick. Once when I tuned in to see if his show had gotten better (I used to be on the road a lot) I heard his announcement about his deafness. which was caused by his massive doses of oxycodone and/or vicodin. Remember it later came out he took from 120 to 180 pills of oxycodone and/or hydracodone a day (a dosage which would kill an ordinary person not protected by demons ;) )? His program had become boring before that and his mask had begun to slip. It became obvious he was a racist.

Rush is a supercilious fool. Back when Oprah's show started I'd occasionally watch it. She became popular because back then she related viscerally to women. And advertisers flocked to her. I doubt most people cared whether Oprah was black. She exuded wisdom and compassion rare in our time. Oprah used her brains to get where she is today. She relates well to people and she has extremely sound business sense.

I think Barack Obama captured people's imaginations mainly because of his youth, good looks and eloquence. He didn't carry a lot of baggage, so people thought he might be able to break through the political barriers and deliver the changes many hoped for. Obama didn't become President because he was black, but it didn't impeded him, either. That speech about not having blue states and red states and uniting us influenced many to vote for him.
