A Rod Serling screenplay predicted the rise of an Objectivist/Libertarian nightmare.
A Rod Serling made for television film, broadcast only once in 1964, "A Carol for Another Christmas" starring Sterling Hayden as a conservative university president, still grieving the loss of his son in World War II, evoking his Cold War paranoia in a decision to deny admitting a communist professor from an Iron Curtain country to the faculty. He is visited by three ghosts: Brit Eklund, Past; Peter Fonda, Present; and Joseph Wiseman, Future, who shows "Grudge" a tribal world of "Individualists" lead by Peter Sellers as King of the Individualists aka the "Ultimate Me". It is currently available on DVD for purchase or rental.

3.  I had the amazing good fortune to see
it when it was broadcast that one and only time. I wish I knew why it was never rebroadcast.

My memory of it was that it was absolutely powerful. It was Christmas vacation, I was in high school, and when school resumed I couldn't find anyone who'd seen it.

4. Nuts. Doesn't look like Netflix has it.
I may have seen this, but '64 was a long time ago.
