Report: 97 percent of scientists say man-made climate change is real
Forget the four out of five dentists who recommend Trident…. Try the 97 out of 100 scientists that believe in man-made climate change.

This data comes from a new survey out this week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The study found that 97 percent of scientific experts agree that climate change is "very likely" caused mainly by human activity.

2. There is a bit of a difference between informed scientific opinion
and a popularity contest.

3. Well, its still an argument to popularity
Though, its still a larger percentage than Republicans who believe the earth is round.

8. I'm curious about the 3%
How many of them were just "unsure" as opposed to being certain that climate change isn't man made? Of those that were sure it isn't man made, how many listed a job in the Bush administration as their science credentials?

9. Yep - the way it's worded that 3% could be saying that the 'cause'
of warming is cyclical changes due to astronomical effects (increased solar output, dust clouds which the earth periodically passes through) and that man-made causes are merely exacerbating the situation to a critical degree.

Then, there are those who will deny that climate change is even happening - who are you going to believe, our ideological proclamations or your lying eyes?
