Why did Ben Nelson vote against the jobs bill?

I don't see how voting against this bill will help anyone during the mid-terms. I must be missing something. :banghead:

edited to add: I think every person that voted against this bill should lose their jobs/health benefits for a year and try and live off unemployment. Maybe we can "outsource" their jobs to some of the unemployed. Bet they wake up quick, fast and in a hurry.

Are suppose to take all these seats when there fucking the ordinary citizen on so many issues? Blaming Obama for not creating jobs, while out of the other side of their mouths they're saying government doesn't create jobs. It's a win/win for them, all people will see is the unemployment number. They'll lose their unemployment, but forget who voted AGAINST them receiving extended benefits.

Seems some people don't bother to find out what's going on, they live and vote from what they've heard in sound bites. It's really a shame so many people vote against their own interests.
