Wow! When I first heard about this event, I figured La Sara would sell out the joint. So much for that!

But apparently not even Sarah Palin can make ticket sales sing.

"It's going better, we're just trying to sell tickets," said Glover. "To be honest, it's something we didn't anticipate at all. It speaks more to the economy and all that, but we thought Sarah Palin and Atlanta and throw it out there and people would come."

They still might. In addition to Palin, the former governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, the event features NASCAR driver David Ragan and performances by top Christian recording artists, including one surprise artist who alone is worth the ticket price, Glover said.

Tickets, available through Ticketmaster, range in price from $25 to $65. Glover said plenty of good seats remain.
