Where were the questions about what condition the well is in now?
Is the well casing ruptured? Is the earth beneath the blow-off preventer being eroded by the 11,000 pounds per square inch pressure? Are there fractures and fissures along eight or so miles of sea floor surrounding this "accident"? Is oil and toxic gas spewing from other related areas other than the cut pipe?
I have pretty much lost hope.
Corporate capitalist rule coupled with an impotent and bought off government has done this.
Hayward gets off so lightly - his company is refusing to offer the National Institute of Health (Or maybe it was OSHA) a list of the names of those working to clean up the beaches.
The Agency would like to track the health effects of this clean up work. So far BP has REFUSED to make these names available.
So shouldn't Congress meet in a special session and pass some laws about how the Company had better help our government track the workers' health? I'd like to see fines for every time they don't comply with our Federal Government's requests, as well as with those of the States and local Counties.
3. I wanted someone to ask they what they are doing with all the dead animals
but then they were prepared to obfuscate & lie, so the whole exercise was a waste of time, and just a platform for bloviating legislators to make some commercial soundbytes.
