We met some people at the beach today, they were all strangers
to me except my sister, who I've known since my parents brought her home from the hospital in 1957. They were all from Wisconsin-here on business. I described our situation here vis-a-vis BP as follows: "It's like hoping your little portion of the toilet bowl stays clean when someone flushes."
Because I can do nothing I am mostly quiet about this catastrophe. I think once they plug the goddamn leak, you will hear me scream without a telephone.
I believe in "first things first", which does not help your heartache and the disruption of what you had planned for your life even one little bit. I am so damn sad and sorry.
