My guess is that it has partially something to do with them not feeling like their allies are loyal to them.

12. Yes. Brazil does count.
I try to limit my threads to making one point at a time, otherwise it gets people confused ;)

2. Actually not, they felt diplomacy might still work
Turkey and Brazil had an agreement with Iran on enriching the nuclear fuel for power generation out of the country.

3. At this point, I see Turkey asking which way Israel voted and then voting in opposition to Israel.

from our orbit and charting it's own course.

5. Perhaps they understand that sanctions
Are a weapon against civilians; they tend to harden the resolve of those who are in power.

In fact, since they are a weapon against civilians, one could argue that they are a war crime under the Geneva Conventions.

13. Nah, they're not a war crime
if the last 60 years have taught us anything, it's that Muslims cannot be the victims of war crimes.

( :sarcasm: )

7. Hell, that's why they sent blockade runners to Gaza. Getting cozy with the
new mid-east super power that the Bushco invasion of Iraq helped create and magnified. The whole point of propping up Saddam all those years was to prevent what has already begun.

Turkey wasn't on any mercy mission or if they were it was secondary.

8. That's a disgusting accusation considering that Israel is the party in the
