1. It's a false choice! Surely we are able to do moe than one thing at a time????
In 2008 as well as today, my concern is the environment, the wars AND the economy/jobsd, and I believe we can & should work on ALL OF THEM together!

But we're an unregulated corporation when it comes to the environment. We don't want to allow the environment to regulate us. We want as much profit as we can get, no matter what happens to the whole. We have to grow the economy, because it's all about us. We've privatized the entire planet. Or, at the very least, want to.

Which is why I always find it funny that we complain about corporate greed. If regulation is so good, then maybe we should let it happen to us. But we don't like those limits. We want to write our own rules.
