....According to Raw Story. Me thinks the big prize in 2008 is going to whichever presidential candidate is perceived as actually causing the Iraq insanity to come to an end. I think Obama is one smart cookie, and has figured it out. I still see him as kind of a triangulator, so I'm not that warm to him yet. But this is good.

so are we basically going on trust

Hillary, mostly talk, not sure what she really thinks
Obama, lengthy discussion with some point in there about redeployment, but also points about staying
Edwards, strong talk about leaving, but impotent since he is not in the Senate, so talk is cheap

You have to beware of those who equivocate. Talk is cheap in Washington. Some candidates like Clinton try to take both sides of the issue while riding on the wave of antiwar sentiment. They say things like, "I thought Saddam Hussein was a menace, but the Bush administration went in with no plan to win the peace." That of course, doesn't amount to much. It's blahblahblah. Don't fall for it.

he is just making it binding. Not that impressive from either of them. by 08 what will the death count be so that they can win office?
