His show has much less content than Rachel.

18. Same here
followed immediately thereafter with an hour of Rachel Maddow. Best two hours of 'teevee' on each day.

12. Fox News has been #1 in the ratings this year.
I'm talking non-stop anti-Obama/pro-Republican propaganda vs. MSNBC hosts who BREAK DOWN propaganda!

6. I've stopped watching the show. It has become the rush limpballs
show. I can't stand rush and I don't need to see what that ass hat is up too day in and day out. KO just became overly obsessed with him.

That's not to say I don't enjoy some of his work, but I tend to find those clips posted here anyway, so it's no big deal.

16. well he was when I stopped watching....
Again, not flaming KO too hard, I just hate when any pundits do that shit. Seriously the last KO I watched he spent 15 minutes of his show talking about and giving Rush air time. Too much going on in the world to waste even a minute of time on that asshole.

7. Do ratings usually go down in the summer?
Anyway, I watch Keith and Rachel and I enjoy both of them. But if I am short on time and it's one or the other, Rachel hands down.

9. I watch both when I can stream on PC.... or often listen on XM120
But, I wouldn't be surprised if all cable shows viewership is down. It is summer, after all (and others just want to deny/ignore/bury their head in the sand vis-a-vis the Gulf Oil debacle.

10. My wife and I each download it on iTunes or watch it on the MSNBC site.
We rarely watch it on the teevee.

They need to learn how to count us.

11. Stopped watching on a regular basis during the Presidential campaign...
was disappointed by who he invited on the show to talk about the IWR, fifth year after the vote, and who he did not.

Let's talk to the guy who got it all wrong. And then talk to his wife another night during the same week for good measure ... it was rather revealing for me and remember it well.

:(

25. There was talk in the media about it being 5 years since Congress voted on the IWR ...
I thought Olbermann might interview someone who spoke out and voted against the IWR when he mentioned it had been 5 years since the vote.

Silly me, I thought he might interview a candidate that got it right from the beginning.

We all knew what candidates had said and done 5 years prior, Keith chose to give time to a candidate that got it wrong and ignored one of the only candidates who got it right.

It was quite revealing to me, hope that helps :)

15. MSNBC has been pushing ads for his show hard for a few weeks. I've lost interest and
have been watching Maddow much more frequently. I get real news from her, as opposed to the constant beat of the Palin, Rush, Hannity gossip drum.

17. You get real news from Rachel?
Look, I like the woman, but I find her too sing-songy and airy and not very newsy.

Keith's news is general very poignant for the first half - he reserves the more silly stuff of the later half, which is how it should be. I still love "Worst Person in the World," though.

19. I got tired of the
...."special comment". If I want someone to tell me how to think I'll watch Fox Propaganda. So whenever he began his comment....I changed the channel.

Then, and I'm not sure when, somewhere along the line it seemed like his show was becoming a "special comment"...well at least for me...and it got old fast.

26. He doesn't tell you how to think, he tells you his opinion and you can form your own.
If that is too sophisticated for you then watch FOX.

28. LOL!!!!!!!
So I should form an opinion based off an opinion vs. an opinion on all the available facts. Because the TV Commentator obviously knows! (that last sentence was sarcasm by the way).

Your statement alone, defends every birther, RW Fruit Loop (no offense to fruit loops intended), etc. Because they are doing EXACTLY what you state.

22. They dont
Baby boomers brand choices are fixed. The advertisers want to reach the 14 year old demographic, to colonize consumers minds that are malleable, and establish brand loyalty early. At age 59 you are much less likely to shift your brand loyalty for something like toothpaste or detergent.

That's why they pay top dollar for the 14-25 demographic, a loyal customer means many years of return on the investment of advertisement. Or so the "theory" goes...
